Liners going brittle, tiles lifting, covers that wouldn't satisfy an insurer, plant rooms limping through one more season. Most of these pools don't need replacing. They need someone to look at them carefully and put right what's worn out.
We can modernise:
Every year we take on a handful of refurbishment projects alongside our builds, and they get the same treatment: an honest assessment, costs agreed in writing before we start, and the work done by our own team, to the same standard as a new build.

For holiday-let owners
If your pool is part of a holiday let, insurers and letting agents will want a compliant safety cover and a pool that's genuinely guest-ready. We've done exactly this for Unique Homestays properties, usually against a first-booking deadline.
The machinery
Failing pumps, tired filtration, heating that costs a fortune to run. We upgrade plant rooms with proven, serviceable equipment from established UK suppliers, not whatever's cheapest this month.
Start again, without the dig
Sometimes a pool needs more than patching. Where the structure is sound, a full renovation with a new finish, new plant and a new surround can deliver a near-new pool for far less than starting from a hole in the ground.
A new pool gets a fixed quotation. A pool built by someone else is different, because some problems stay hidden until the pool is drained and opened up: a cracked shell, failed pipework, a corroded light niche. We won't give you a single fixed number for work nobody can see yet.
Instead, before any work starts, we agree in writing what we've found so far, how the work will be charged, what happens if we find more, and a provisional timeline. If the picture changes once the pool is open, we stop, show you what we've found, and agree the next step in writing before we carry on.
We're builders rather than a weekly cleaning round, so we don't run a van-on-your-drive-every-Tuesday service. But we do look after a small number of pools across Cornwall, mostly ones we built and occasionally ones we didn't. Every pool we refurbish is handed back with clear guidance and a phone number that gets answered. If your pool needs a professional in its corner rather than a weekly cleaner, ask us.
