Retiling & new liners
The pool itself
Cracked tiles, worn liners, dated finishes — the transformations that make an old pool look and swim like a new one, at a fraction of a rebuild's cost.

We're best known for building a small number of exceptional new pools each year — but plenty of Cornish gardens already have a pool: liners going brittle, tiles lifting, covers that wouldn't satisfy an insurer, plant rooms limping through one more season. Every year we take on a handful of refurbishment projects alongside our builds, and they get the same treatment: honest assessment, a written quote, and work done properly by our own team.
Recent projects include the full retile and renovation of an indoor pool at Gorran Haven, and the refurbishment of the pool at Lightkeepers — brought up to holiday-letting standard on a deadline, and now featured with Unique Homestays.

For holiday-let owners
If your pool is part of a holiday let, insurers and letting agents will want a compliant safety cover and a pool that's genuinely guest-ready. We've done exactly this for Unique Homestays properties — usually against a first-booking deadline.
The machinery
Failing pumps, tired filtration, heating that costs a fortune to run. We upgrade plant rooms with equipment from Ambassador Pools and Paragon — proven kit that's supported for decades, not whatever's cheapest this month.
Start again, without the dig
Sometimes a pool needs more than patching. Where the structure is sound, a full renovation — new finish, new plant, new surround — can deliver a near-new pool for far less than starting from a hole in the ground.
We're builders rather than a weekly cleaning round, so we don't run a van-on-your-drive-every-Tuesday service. But we do look after a small number of pools across Cornwall — mostly ones we built, occasionally ones we didn't — and every pool we refurbish is handed back with clear guidance and a phone number that gets answered. If your pool needs a professional in its corner rather than a weekly cleaner, ask us. If we're at capacity, we'll say so honestly and point you somewhere good.
The best first step is a conversation. Tell us about your garden, your house and what you'd like to build, and we'll tell you honestly whether we're the right people for it.
